Agile Lab up and running at the Begbroke Centre for Innovation & Enterprise

Begbroke

The “Agile Lab”, a shared working facility within the Centre for Innovation & Enterprise at Begbroke (CIE) is now up and running. It comprises an equipped laboratory with bookable bench space and equipment and co-working office space and is available to hire at low rates. The Agile Lab allows its users to develop their scientific ideas into a commercial offering within a successful entrepreneurial environment. This can include:

  • Pre-start-ups looking to complete short-term proof of concept experiments required for funding applications
  • University researchers undertaking experiments to confirm research impact prior to company incorporation

Benefits available to users of the Agile Lab include one-to-one support (e.g. assistance with seeking future funding), networking opportunities with businesses on site and access to seminars and workshops. We can also help sourcing access to equipment within the University.

Tenants can also make use of the Materials Science Laboratory providing characterisation and prototyping services.

The Agile Lab is an initiative of the Oxfordshire Innovation Support for Business programme (ISfB) which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
